I have tried using Merger in Power Query but my files crashed on 100k rows of data. i have Table A which has multiple Y Curve Values and Table B which looks like (see below) i want to match the first Y Curve with the First Y curve in table b..and return the % into table A

An index field exists in your table a? If that is a case, you can filter table records based on the current field value. Then you can sort by index value and keep top one row values.
