MAX SUM BY DIFFERENTS CATEGORIES

Hi everyone,

i have this table:

TABLA1.JPG

If i create a cross table i get this:

cross table.JPG

línea= CALUMN "ALN","ESPUMA","EXTINCION","EXTINTORES"

So what i need to calculate is the max values of each línea by "PROJECT" and the result i want to get is  ALN = 50,543,  ESPUMA= 58,990, EXTINCION= 49,059, EXTINTORES= 28,456

Thanks.

Hi @JEANCARLOB7

Create measures

Measure 2 =
MAXX (
    FILTER (
        ALLSELECTED ( 'Table' ),
        'Table'[project]
            = MAX ( 'Table'[project] )
            && 'Table'[linea]
                = MAX ( 'Table'[linea] )
    ),
    [value]
)

Measure = IF(ISINSCOPE('Table'[name]),SUM('Table'[value]),[Measure 2])

So, in general you could use SUMMARIZE or GROUPBY to create a table variable using VAR to emulate your matrix. Then you should be able to use MC Aggregations to get the MAX across your columns. https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Quick-Measures-Gallery/Multi-Column-Aggregations-MC-Aggregations/m-...
