Any champion here who is able to do MACD or 12 days EMA calculations (column) using dax?
Hi @purpleme_fin ,
At present, in powerbi, there is no dax formula corresponding to it for the time being, and it involves complicated calculation logic behind it. You can refer to the content of the following blog as a reference.
MACD (Moving Average Convergence/Divergence Oscillator) [ChartSchool] (stockcharts.com)

thanks @v-henryk-mstf Henry.
But I am already aware of what MACD is and its calculations.
This is why I approached the Forum in the first place.
thanks @amitchandak but it doesnt help. Moving Averages is a cake walk. What makes MACD different is that the first value for the period is a MA value and then all the next days follow a different calc altogether.
Secondly, also I want to do it, not for one stock but multiple stocks.
Good to do in Excel but really need some genius for dax(Calc Column)
There are multiple MACD tutorials on Youtube of less than 5minutes and most be skim watched.
PS - I was able to do SMA, RSI, Bollinger Bonds but MACD looks a real challenge.
Hello Sir,
Can you please share resources of the following:
1. RSI, SMA, Bollinger Bonds on excel and power bi.
2. And MACD for excel
I am trying really hard since few days but can't find a suitable solution.
@purpleme_fin , There two topics around that, see if those can help

or
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
