Loosing formatting between desktop and web

Hi,

I've just started using PowerBI - I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and so far it all seems good apart from one problem...

I'm using desktop to connect to SQL and i'm writing specific views that provide specific chucks of data for specific reports.

I'd like to be able to upload the reports/dashboards to the web app and share them with other members of staff but I'm finding that all of my numbers loose their formatting in the web app.

For example; I have a report that contains (among other things) a card with a turnover number on it. In the desktop app this number is automatically shown as £718.2K but when I upload the report to the web app it shows as £718.01831000000......

This is the same for all numbers shown.

How can I get the web app to show numbers in the same format as the desktop app??

Darren
