Hi,

Having the following scenario: Windows 2012 + SQL Server 2016 Enterprise + Microsoft Power BI RS 

A table name data with the fields (id, salesid, amount)

From End User side: Windows 10 +  Power BI 

The question: If I the table data is updated, how could I make that my dashboard be updated automatically with the new info with pressing refresh button? Is threre any step by step pdf, video, blog?

Do your end user have Power BI Service account? If so, you can connect to SQL Server database in Power BI Desktop , create report in Power BI Desktop and publish the report to Power BI Service, there is an article for your reference..

Then you can install gateway on your server, add the SQL Server data source within gateway following the guide in this article, and set schedule refresh for your dataset in Power BI Service. After that, you can share the report to your end users.
