Looking for best possible approach to get data from Service Now to Power Bi Desktop?

Hi,

I am looking for best possible way to get the data from ServiceNow to Power BI desktop, other than the content pack way [ since using sso and also it takes longer time (30 min to retrieve 20k rows) ].

If there is no direct connector to do so, just want to check if there is something planned for serviceNow direct connector update for powerbi in your pipeline ?

Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous

You can vote the idea that add a ServiceNow connector in Power BI Desktop.Maybe you can transfer the data from ServiceNow to SQL Server database and establish a direct link between ServiceNow and SQL Server to get latest data, then connect to the SQL Server database from Power BI Desktop. In Power BI Desktop, you can create your own reports.Based on my reserach, you can connect to ServiceNow in Power BI Desktop by utilizing ServiceNow API, for more details, please check this thread.
