Looking for best approach to handle lookup values with alphanumeric character

I have 2 data tables, one is a reference table.  Unfortunately the data was not created in the best approach and the lookup value in the reference table contains some alpha-numeric values.  These are the exception and should be disregarding in the lookupvalue function.  However, I cannot apply the lookupvalue function while these alpha-numeric values exist.

Example:

Table 1 has a unique ID and a reference ID

Reference Table has the reference ID and the item name.  Some reference IDs are alpha numeric should be disregarded.

Can I check for a whole number or do I need to modify the data?

hi, @pawsforbear

After my test, you could use this formula to add a custom column in Edit Queries

=try Number.From([Column1]) otherwise null

3.JPG

and then filter by this column.

Best Regards,

Lin
