Hi
I have a report that has a relative slicer, and it effects my one visual when i chage the month difference. i tried to put a only filter on visual level, but relatice slicer still changes the showed month.
How can i lock a visual so it is not effected by a relative slicer?

Hi @v-jiascu-msft @kcantor@KHorseman
The answer in another forum didn't work .
I used the method mention above, but with our own date diff calculation i get first month of the year to active month. by doing that, i locked the visual being filterd by relative slicer and only getting it's own date diff calculation to show months.
You may need to duplciate any measures just for this Visual. If it's not a Slicer interaction issue, one of your caculations might be changing your YTD values b/c it's sharing a measure being effected by another slicer. Make unique YTD Measures just for this visual (and double check your slicer interactions one more time.)
P.S. Some sample data would really help here...

Hi
Not that, that function doesn't work.
i think it should be a dax code, can't quite figure it out. 🙂
@isly, the suggestion @KHorseman works for my visuals. However, if you are looking for dax, have you considered using ALL within your calculation to force the calculation to ignore that single filter?
