Hi guys,
same problem here. I've seen this post that solves the problem for the web images :
http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Integrations-with-Files-and/logo-on-slicer-buttons/m-p/10108#M1746
@PowerBIGuy , @GrahamKnowles have you any ideas about how to solve the problem with the local images?
#I'M Not An Expert#
For an image in a local folder, use a file URL, e.g.: file:///C:/MyImages/Logo.png.
@asocorroI am having an issue with mine Slicer. I have the following excel file, with two local images, and I get no images in power bi. Note that the pictures are saved as jpg. I tested with png and it also didnt work
Try using forward slashes in the file path. That is, instead of "\" use "/".
Didn't work
still not working I have tried with 1 "/" and 3 "///" after "file :"
does it matter that the files are jpg and not png?
Hi , I have this same problem -> I have a column of urls that look like "file:///C:\blah\blah.png" and they have the data category of 'Image URL'. However they only show as the text values rather than the actual images when using them as a chiclet slicer.
Am I doing something wrong? or is this a known issue?
(also I would prefer to bring the images in to the data model rather than link to them but afaik this isn't possible at the moment? )
