Linking invoice to image

Hi,

I'm creating a table (visual) in Power BI with invoice data and would like to be able to link every invoice to an invoice image. The images are stored on an SQL-server and I've loaded them into Power BI, but the images are too small (75x150 if I'm not wrong). It is impossible to see anything. The wanted end product is to be able to click on the image so that the invoice image would pop up.

Is there any way around this? Or is the only way to upload the images to a web host (like Sharepoint)? I looked at Chris Webb's blog post but I'm not sure if that is the way because I'll have thousands of images, and because of that I'm not sure if having them directly in Power BI is the right way (performance wise). There is 5000+ invoice images at the moment, and continuously growing.

And a question regarding web hosting (if that is the only way): how do I link every invoice row to a specific image?

I've created a key-column in the invoice-table to link it to every image like this:

But I'm not sure how to make the link get the right picture.

Sincerely
Ash

Hi @Anonymous ,

Under Format, find Grid and then Image Height. The default height for a table is 75 pixels, and the maximum height is 150 pixels. You could also look into custom visuals such as the Chiclet Slicer or Strippet Browser to see if that might also help meet your need for an image gallery.

Best Regards,

Jay
