Hi
I'm implementing an Earned Value Dashboard and I am calculating:
Cost Performance Index (CPI) = Earned Value / Actual Cost
Schedule Performance Index (SPI) = Earned Value / Planned Value
I calculate all the values as measures and Earned Value is used twice. These values are generated across two tables - CPI in cost table, SPI in schedule table with a Job ID linking the two.
I then calculate two columns based on
CPI Index = if(CPI < 1, true, false) and
SPI Index if(SPI < 1, true, false)
I can then link these to an icon table where my icons are stored.
However, I get a circular dependency error as expected because EV is used twice.
I tried to calculate CPI Index and SPI Index as measures, I then can't link the measure to the index on the icon table
Is there a good way to do this?
Many thanks!

You may use LOOKUPVALUE to add a measure.
Measure 2 = LOOKUPVALUE ( icon[icon], icon[index], [Measure] )
You may use LOOKUPVALUE to add a measure.
Measure 2 = LOOKUPVALUE ( icon[icon], icon[index], [Measure] )
