Linking Tables Column Names with different punctuation

Hello,

I have different sources, where the same names appear, but the names are appear slightly different:

Table 1: Collumn Names: John.Doe

Table 2: Collumn Names: john doe

How would I link these based on these collumns?

I ended up adding two new columns to both tables with this formula:

NewNames = LOWER(SUBSTITUTE(Table[Names], ".", " "))

Hi @KPMEE ,

You could complete the modeling directly by dragging the corresponding column in Power BI Desktop. This is no different from the normal modeling steps.
