Hello powerBi comunity,
I would like to have some sort or button or text link that will open an excel file that is located on a local server.
This might be easy to use but i can't figure it out.
Please help,

@Anonymous - If you have a URL, you can link a button action to a Web URL.
Hi Greg,
I only have the regular path that looks somethig like I:\Dept\PSER\Restricted\Proyect\Cost. Like i mentioned it is an internal server. Can it be done ? if so, how do I link this file to the button.
Thanks,
HI @Anonymous
Usually we would do as below, but 'Web URL' is the only option. you cannot point to any excel as a regular path.
try uploading the excel to a sharepoint and then you would get a web URL to share the file and the below steps will work.
Go to Insert --> Buttons --> Blank
