Link copy of visual from one .PBIX to another .PBIX

Hello!

I'm still new to PowerBI, but cannot find an answer to this question in this forum.

Is it possible to link the visuals that are copied from one .PBIX report to another .PBIX report - such that you could create a master and any changes made to those visuals would automatically change in the Paste Linked copy?

Thank you in advance for your help!

@Anonymous this seems like a use case of Row Level Security. So you have one report shared between multiple Tiers so that they can see their own data, if that is the case then you need to implement Row Level Security (RLS) in your reports, it will allow you to have one report and multiple Tiers looking at the report but they get to see their own data. Having said that, when you change the report, it will be available to all of them. This is the best practice instead of making multiple copies of the report. I have couple of blogs on RLS, you can check it out here.

I would  Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!

@Anonymous, unfortunately, it doesn't work like this, each pbix file contains its own set of visuals, you can surely have two pbix files points to one data model but not visuals point to one central place. What is your goal?

I have several different "tiers" of reports to make available to different clients.  As you would expect, Tier 2 includes all in Tier 1 plus some, and so forth.  I was hoping to create a Master that would contain all visuals that are included in all tiers.  My thought was that if I needed to change a visual - say one that is in Tier 1, I could change it in only one place rather than needing to then copy and paste the new version into Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, etc.
