When I hover over one of my more prominent lines on one of my line charts, I have too many lines (14) where the line I'm interested in when I hover over doesn't even show up in the list.
Is there a way to fix this or do I simply need to group these categories into a smaller number?
I like in Excel Pivot Tables where you hover over a line and it tells you what the actual line is. Especially helpful when there are many colors/lines to look at. Thanks.
You can see clearly here what I'm talking about. I guess I need to group into fewer categories eh? Trucking - National does not show up. I wish also, like in Excel Pivot Table Charts, when I hovered over one line I could see what that line was.
Perhaps even make so that whichever line I'm hovering over shows up first? instead of showing all lines alphabetically.
I've turned off tooltips. The only thing I wish were possible is now when I hover over any given line that it would tell me what it is. If I click on the legend name it does highlight the line at least. I might just have to live with this.
Hi @Zarlot531 ,
Based on my research, Power BI doesn't support it now. You can vote these ideas to make them coming soon:
Customize the Sorting of Tooltips,
Remove default values from Tooltips.
