I’m trying to create a report and need some help. I have data for current user sessions for every minute. On the line chart I can currently show count of current of user sessions for every minute with a date slicer to select the date range .what I’m trying to next is add a new filter which shows drop down of minute, 15 mins, hour, day , week and month values. When user selects 15 mins then the line chart should show count for user sessions for 15mins , and for hour it should sum of user sessions in each hour. How Can I do this?
Here is the sample data;
Id createddatetime count
1 2018-11-05 00:01:00 1
2 2018-11-05 00:02:00 1
3 2018-11-05 00:03:00 3
Let me know if more information is needed. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!!
Hi @Anonymous,
It seems that you want to create the slicer with 15 mins, hour, day , week and month values to filter the value in line chart.
However, I'm a little confused about your scenario. Is the count column a calculated column or measure? Do you create the date range with Count column or createddatetime?
If it is convenient, please share your desired output so that we could help further on it. In addition, more data sample will describe your scenario better.
Best Regards,
Cherry
Hi Cherry (@v-piga-msft)
Thanks for your time.
So the data is from Azure Analysis Services for current user sessions. I currently have data in minute granularity and count column is neither calculated column or measure it is a column resulted from Azure Metrics for current user sessions. So right now the data I get is like this for every minute(CreatedDateTime), number of users logged(count column) in . Now I want to add slicer for 15 mins , 30 mins, hour, day and month and Then this count column should show sum of count for 15 mins/30mins/hour. I will try to get more sample data by end of the day and will get screenshots of how output should be.
Thanks,
Sree
