I am trying to use the Line and Clustered Column Chart to show Expired vs Renewed members on the columns and last year's renewals on the line as a benchmark. I am having trouble finding a solution for this.
I currently have three queries in play in this visualization: 1) a date calendar query (so that I can create realtionships to my other queries) 2) an Expirations query for our member expiration for the Fiscal Year and 3) a membership enrollment query, which will be updated throughout the year.
Since we have a July-June Fiscal year and my data queries include dates outside of this year, I have added a visualization filter for July 1, 2019 -June 30, 2020. This is where I believe I am running into some snags. If I want to upload last year's enrollment data as a benchmark, then it will be filtered out becaue of my visualtion filter. I think I am just approaching it wrong and would like some guidance. Even if it is that I am using the wrong visual!
Sincerely,
Trent
@Anonymous I think you can still achieve the result using slicer, it all depends on measure. If you can share sample data in excel or sample pbix file, I will get back to you with the solution.
