Also the Matrix Visual has some update issues. When you cahnge someting, sometimes you have to move to another tab and come back to see the update in change.

Hi @zapppsr,

This problem didn't occur in my environment (Desktop version: 2.48.4792.481 64-bit   July 2017).

What is the version of your desktop? And does this problem occur to each line chart visual? Does issue persist when you create a new report? I tried to recreate the line chart visual using exactly same fields in your pbix file, the problem disappeared.

By the way, what is your data source? Did you import raw data into desktop and then create report using Power BI visual? Or did you import whole report from other report development tool?

Yuliana Gu

Well, thanks for trying. I started a new report from scratch and it didn't happen. Anyways, since we have lots of reports published, it is kinda irrelevant. (I will not redo my reports from scratch). I know it is good information to know that the problem only happens in previously created reports, but it needs fixing anyways!

Hi @zapppsr

This not really a bug, its just a limitation. Power BI Desktop CURRENTLY does not support Markers for Continuous Axes. However they would be adding the feature in future releases.

Regards,

Ketan !

Did you read my whole post?

For me it is a BUG yes, when the Axis is set to Categorical and you set it to Continuous and the chart presents erratic markers of different colors and gaps in the visual, as shown in the image on my post.

My bad !
Is it possible for you to share a test file (pbix). I could try it at my end.

Here.
