Length of time to refresh data

I have a BI file that has gets data from 13 different Excel files. When I refresh the data, it takes a few minutes but the wierd thing that I have noticed is that all of the tables will show the message "Waiting for other queries" while one table shows "Evaluating" for maybe a minute. This particular table is probably the smallest most straightforward table of them all. It is only 14 rows and 1 column. There is nothing done to it in query editor and it is only linked to one other table. Any ideas why this one table would hang up the process?

select File->Option and settings->options->current file

Uncheck the box to disable Parallel loading of tables
