Target: I have two table of data (dataset1, dataset2) with exactly the same structure but with different dates. I want to compare the inventory composition of the two dates using the stacked column chart.
What I did: I created another two table "date" and "category" and connected them with dataset1 and dataset2. And then I tried to create the stacked column chart.
Problem: But I couldn't add legend (I couldn't drag the category into the legend field, and when I tick the categroy it automatically goes into the row field). (see the first picture) But when I just choose the value from 1 table the legend field works (see the second picture).
Who can help me figure the problem out? Thanks in advance!!

Hi @Qianhua,
This is a by design behavior. In Stacked Column Chart, when you add multiple fields into value section, it is not allowed to add legend. If you add field to legend, then, we can only add one field into value section.
