Legend doesn't get filtered when selecting part of the map

When I select a part of the shape map, everything on the report page get filtered, except map legend. Why is this happening?

@Nikola237 ,The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.

If you click of the MAP will not filter itself , It will on act as the driver to filter other visual

You have answered my question. I have expected that map legend will filter when I click on the part of the map visual.
