Total Sales Retail2 = CALCULATE(sum('New Query'[Amt. Sold ($)])) LY Sales ($) = CALCULATE( [Total Sales Retail2],SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR(DATE_DIMENSIONS[Date]))
My filter is "year", "Month", and "Week" as 3 seperate slicers from my date table.
When I select 2018, I get this year correctly, but it shows me all of last year.
I want it to show me last year- year to date when only a year is selected (if I select 2018 today, I want it to show 2017 sales up to 3/1)
or last year - year to filtered week or month. (If I select 2017 - March. I want LY sales to be 2016 (Jan-Mar))
Any advice?
Hi @StevesHelp,
You may need to use SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR, TOTALYTD or DATESYTD function. Here are some examples for your reference:
Year to Date in Previous/Prior Year
