We are having issues where our fiscal year is more than 365 days and we are finding that the yeartodate DAX functions are not bringing in the correct results even though we have a year column.
Questions is what is the best way to specify Year to date for this year and previous year based on our table.

The dates parameter in TOTALYTD and DATESYTD is a calendar date column. Generally, both of these functions can be used to calculate YTD. There are good examples in these two links (1, 2).
I’m not sure how you define the fiscal year and make it more than 365 days. If possible, could you please give a sample data and the expected result you want to get?

Thanks for answering, we use a 445.
Every seven years there is an additional week in the year. We managed to get round it by making a fiscal table which converts the date in a fake fiscal date and then use the fake as our Date column...
