Many of my reports and dashboards in my PBI experience are set to refresh multiple times during the day. The updates are predicated on a file being exported from a source system and written to a SQL database. Along with this, I have a "Last Refresh" tile on the dashboard to show when the file was last updated.
I am curious to know if anyone is using a process whereby if there is no change to the source file (or the file fails), that I can stop the "timestamp" from presenting it as "updated" information.
i.e. If the file doesn't change, or never arrives, the refresh doesn't occur.
