Okay, so I have an activity table I created. The activity table reads like a bank statement but contains payments (-) and orders (+). There is an activity amount and a running balance for that particular customer for each transaction line. When the customer pays off their balance, it goes to zero.
I would like a measure that returns the most recent balance as of any given month end for a particular customer. Please note, supposing I have a visual for 2018YTD, and customer A has one transaction (a purchase which causes the balance to increase to say $10) in January, but no activity in February and March, I would like the measure to calculate as $10 in January, February, and March.
Also, supposing the aforementioned purchase didn't occur, but instead customer A made two purchases in January of $5 each, the balance reported for the second transaction would be $10 and I would like to report a $10 balance in January, February, and March (assuming no other activity in 2018)
