Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I don't think so... Just returns a blank value. FYI There is no relationship between these tables.
My Formula :
Lookup = LOOKUPVALUE('Selected Results' [Total Systems],'Selected Results'[ID], 3)
Scanned Table
Vulnerable systems / severity / CVE / Lookupvalue (Systems Scanned)
6520 / Low / cve-12523 / (This where I want) 8000
562 / High / cve-1200 / 8000
xxxx / xxxx /xxxxx / 8000
Selected Results Table
ID / Name / total systems
3 / Scanned / 8000
5 / Access Denied / 5
8 / xxxx / 3

WOOT WOOT!!!
I figured out my own problem... It ended up being I had a relationship between this and another table and that is what in the end caused it to show blank. As soon as I deleted the relationship the data showed up. Can't believe that is what it was but I should have known.
Hi @moshiera
I can't see corresponding data between 'Selected Results' and 'Scanned Table'. LOOKUPVALUE can't be worked. Unfortunately.
@moshiera, can you send yours pbix test data? You text sample look a little curious
