Hi there,
This seems like there SHOULD be a solution but I'm striking out. I have a field with free text in it. I want to give the users the ability to put in a keyword and for Power BI to return all the results where that keyword appears ANYWHERE in the text field. I know that in the filters section, we can use an advanced search with the "contains" operator to achieve this. However, this is a bit convoluted and since the intention is for my report to be deployed to a website where users who will not have been trained to use the report will visit, I was hoping to use a slicer type field BUT with the ability to do a "*KEYWORD*" type functionality.
Any suggestions as to how I might achieve this?
