I have a dataset that has a field with a lot of trailing spaces -- when I load the data to the desktop, it seems like it automatically trims the trailing spaces. I know its somewhat unusual, but I need to keep them -- is there a way to do that?

Hi @doubles,
By my tests, we may not keep the trailing spaces when loading the data. It will only load the space before the character or the space between the characters.
You could submit your idea in Power BI ideas Forum.
As a workaround, if you have the same trailing space, you could use dax to add the space.
Here is an attachment you could refer to.

Thank you, yes -- I did end up using DAX to add the spaces.
