Just the change of produced articles of one year not two years

Hi folks,

if I would like to see in a table the change of sales compared to last year, I use SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR to calcuate my sales of last year.  Afterwards I create a new measure, Change of produced articles= Current produced articles - Last Year prod. articles, like in table shown below.

Produzierte Artikel = produced articles

Abw. vom VJ = Change of produced articles compared to year before

My question is, is it possible to just show the change from 2018 to 2019 not from 2017 to 2018? The change of 2017 to 2018 is the column with total of 43.102.

YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD('Date'[Date],"12/31"))
Last YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Year),"12/31"))
This year Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(ENDOFYEAR('Date'[Date]),"12/31"))
Last year Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(ENDOFYEAR(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Year)),"12/31"))
Last to last YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-2,Year),"12/31"))
Year behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Year))

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :

Thanks for your answer @amitchandak .

Your hints helped to find a solution.

I have used a slicer with year to select the right year and have calculated the amount of last year production with SAMERPERIODLASTYEAR, but i have used a dynamic heading to limit the years and thus only show the change from one year to the other.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Why don't you simply decrease the column width to zero for column with total of 43.102 ?

That should hide the percent change from 2017 to 2018 while still showing percent change from 2018 to 2019.

thanks for your repsonse. Unfortunatley your solution doesn´t work. If I reduce the column withd to 0, line height rises because line break.
