It doesnt appear that you can use Anomaly detection on Report pages conected to a dataset

When I set up Anololy detection on test reports in a pbix file connected to dataflow its fine.

If I try and create anomaly detection if the reporting pbix connected to a dataset it doesnt appear to be available. 

if this is true this is going to be a major issue. 

Anyone else found this to be the case?

Hi @DebbieE ,

According to your question, it may be related to the connected dataset. Direct Query over SAP data source, Power BI Report Server, Live Connection to Azure Analysis Services and SQL Server Analysis Services aren't supported.
