Hello everyone,
I'm a little new using Power BI Desktop, but I'm trying to sort some graphics using Power BI and seems that - with numbers - I'm unable to sort it using numeric data.
The graphic has 2 columns - one numeric and one with a Countries list. When sorting the graphic from major to minor using the numeric column, either my computer or Power BI sort the graphic showing numbers like 8, 7, 6, 5 etc... major than 12 or 13; cause these last two have a 1 before.
Does anyone know why this occurs?
Thank you in advance, and apologies if such question is a really newbie one.
Thanks a million!

Hello,
my guess they are formatted as Text. Please check Text Format of your column in your editor.
Best regards
Hi @jordipmend,
If you've loaded your dataset to your model without setting the columns to the correct/or intended data type, then your numeric columns is most probably of type any (abc123) and will behave like a text column in your model. As @Floriankx said, check your data type.
