Issue with changing font dimension in new preview matrix

Hi everyone,

I have an issue (and I verified that is not only in my computer) with changing the font dimension of data in the new matrix preview.

I have a direct query to a SSAS Multidimensional.

When I try to change the font in the matrix, nothing happen and, to see the change, I have to change page and go back or drill down in the table.

I had this issue also in the May version of Power BI.

I tried with other user and computers but seems to be the same.

Thank you.

Best.

Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please try it again? The Power BI Desktop and Service have upgraded recently. And there is a new version of the matrix visual, which is good with these functions according to my test. power-bi-desktop-july-feature-summary-2

Best Regards!

Hi @Anonymous,

According to my test, it seems that everything is good. Could you please tell me which parts you changed? Because there are many parts that can be changed. E.g. Column headers, value... Could you please post a snapshot if possible?

Best Regards!

Dale

Hi @v-jiascu-msft,

it's the same with every part I change:

Here with the Grid

When I was trying to make screenshots I discover the issue:

In "Column headers", if the "Auto-size column width" is turned on, everything works good, but when I turn it off, nothing about changing the format of the matrix is going to work (not in grid, not in columns headers neither rows headers neither values), unless I do what I said before (drill or change page).

"Auto-size column width" OFF:

Thanks

Hi  @v-jiascu-msft,

I tried yesterday wit the new version of Power BI (July 2017) and I still had the same problem, but today is gone.

I don't understand what is the real situation in where the issue occurres. For now I can mark this problem as solved, but in the future it could come back..

Thank you.

Best.
