Issue with arcgis map

I have  a column 3 digit zip code  which i need to use for for arcgis map location field. I need to show area for those 3 digit zip code in map so i used boundaries instead of point in location type but arcgis map is not showing proper area for those zip codes. It only showing points as address for the those zip codes. I need to show area for those 3 digit zip code & sales in size section.

3 digit zip code value: 197, 227

Can you please help me on that.
