Issue with Lookup Value to get value from previouse date

Hi All

First post so hopefully this is the right place. I have a large table of data (a sample below). I want to create a column where it will show the position of the ProductID of the previous date. So for the 5th December the position will be 100019023. Please note that in the table there will be a date for each position, its the the ProductID that may change by day. I've been trying to solve this using LookupValue but with no luck!

Re: Issue with Lookup Value to get value from previouse date

Hi @kenmuir71

Create a column

Column =
CALCULATE (
    MAX ( 'Table'[Position] ),
    FILTER (
        'Table',
        'Table'[ProductID] = EARLIER ( 'Table'[ProductID] )
            && 'Table'[date] < EARLIER ( 'Table'[date] )
    )
)

Re: Issue with Lookup Value to get value from previouse date

Try

First Sales Date = MAXX(filter(purchase,purchase[Date]<EARLIER(Sales[Date]) && Sales[Product Id]= EARLIER(purchase[Product Id])),purchase[position])
