Hi.
Im trying to call an API for our local Service Now Instance to bring data into Power BI.
I have the API query, and a Username and Password which has the right level of access.
I can call the API fine (using the Username and Password) in a Browser or using a tool like Postman - and bring back and see the data
However when trying to connect in Power BI i get the error below
Im using the Web Connector and Basic credentials (although ive tried all others and they don't work either)
Hi @Anonymous ,
Here's a link about how to connect an OData feed, hope to help you:

Thanks @lbendlin - really greatful for the reply, yes understand the need to always clear the global permissions.
However anonymous doesnt work either.
The username and password arent linked to my companies AD> It is a specific webservice account weve created for this purpose.
@Anonymous
That depends on how deeply integrated Service-Now is with your company's AD. If you specify username and password as part of the API call then you need to use Anonymous .
NOTE: Once you have tried an authentication method that choice will be recorded in the global settings. if it fails then it will also prevent you from using an alternative method. During testing you need to always clear global permissions before switching methods.
