I know how to format a column if it's being used in a visual. But let's say I want a column to always have a white background with white text wherever and whenever it is used. If I add it to a visual and then remove it and then re-add it, it loses the settings. Is there a way to change the formatting of a column itself, rather than just in each visual? I know this can be done in Tableau. Below is a gif of what I mean.
