Is there a text function for checking all case in Power Query M

Hi all,

I am wondering if there is  function in the M Power Query to check all the letter in a text consist of all upper case or lower case.

For example:

  • "Trailer; Mario Box Tandam 2000GVM" will return   "True" (because this text consist of some letters with lower case"
  • "TRUCK ISUZU NPR200 MED SC TT 4.3L M D" will return   "False" (because this text consists of all letter with upper case"

Please advise if there is such function as I checked in the Text function, there isn't.

If there is not, do you have any solution to do this?

Regards,

Tuffy

@Anonymous in edit query, add new custom column with following expression to get true/false

[Column1]<>Text.Upper([Column1])

If my solution proved useful, I'd be delighted to receive Kudos. When you put effort into asking a question, it's equally thoughtful to acknowledge and give Kudos to the individual who helped you solve the problem. It's a small gesture that shows appreciation and encouragement! ❤
