Is there a "If ANY column is blank" is blank function?

I am doing project where we where we measuring how much infomation hasnt been filled. Each row of data is given a rating. The higher the rating the more blanks in the row data.

Currently I a calculated column like this:

Blank_fields = If(ISBLANK(Sir[Frequency of updates]),0,1)+if(ISBLANK(Sir[Aggregate resource identifier- Asset identifier]),0,1)+If(ISBLANK(Sir[Creation date]),0,1)+IF(ISBLANK(Sir[Creation date]),0,1)+if(isblank(Sir[Custodian - Information asset custodian]),0,1)

I have MANY coulmns of data to check if the data is blank, and its time consuming adding each column.

What I want to write is Blank_fields = IF( ANY COLUMN BLANK ADD, +1 TO THE VALUE)

I know that wont work 🙂 but you get the idea. Any points on how i can simplfiy my calculated column text?

Thanks in advance for any pointers or help.

In this case, you're trying to apply a function across multiple columns. What you might consider is pivoting your data into just two attribute/value columns, where the attribute is your former column name, and the value is the data it might contain.

At this point, it's much easier to create a custom column that adds up the number of unique attributes have data in their values. In this case, ID #1 has the highest score, because it is the most "complete".
