Hi all,
I have a report that consist of bank details (sensitive data).
My finance team is concern that users might accidentally download the whole list and send it out.
Hence they are asking if PowerBI has this function that only shows up the record upon querying.
You can imagine a blank canvas with a search bar, and when users type in a particular supplier detail in the search bar, the relevant details appear in the report. This is as opposed to a report showing all records and users filter down to the specific one after searching the particular supplier. Please let me know if such visualization is available and how I can use it.
Let me know if any part above is not clear. Happy to explain further.
Thanks!

@Anonymous , You can show details on a drill through the page and you can decide the filter on which it can work. Also, hide the drill through the page , so it can not be accessed directly. On drill through page disable the filter pane so the filter can not be removed.
But you need to test all this thoroughly

Hi Amitchandak,
Thank you for the solution below. Although it doesn't exactly give me what I need, but it still works in terms of masking the important details and show up only upon drill-through. I now only present the less-sensitive data on the main page, and only upon clicking drill-through can users see the more sensitive information.
Disabling the filter pane indeed also prevent users from switching to other records easily within the page. So this is definitely helpful.
I'm new to drill-through function and this is definitely a useful lesson for me. Thanks so much for your assistance in this!
Cheers,
Jiawei
