Hi,
I am reporting on a table with no relationship. Is there a way of having a drop-down instead of a slicer?
Thanks!

There isn't an official one yet, but there is a custom visual called "Smart Filter" that provides drop-down functionality. See http://okviz.com/smart-filter/
@SachinC@chrisu@sdjensen Another option: With yesterday's release there is now the option to search a slicer. This shortcuts the need to scroll and allows you to select specific values. You can click on the elipses of the slicer -> search type in what you are looking for -> check -> clear search and keep repeating. Works very well.
May not be what you are looking for, but it is native and looks like it does the same thing as the custom viz in principle.

Hi @SachinC,
In the Power BI desktop, we can use Query Parameters to filter report data. We can specify a list of the values for query parameter in Query Editor. When we run the report, we can check different values from the list to perform filter. See:

If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
