Is it possible to tie a control to one of the options in Format?

I am utilising a Gantt Control, and utilising the format (painter?) it gives the ability while editing the report to choose week, month, day etc. Can I tie this to a dropdown or any sort of control that can change this value when the report is published and being viewed?

Appreciate any help, pretty new to PowerBI!

As tested, it’s impossible to realize your idea in current version (My Version: 2.76.5678.541 64-bit (December 2019)).
