I need to conditionally format the bars in a STACKED bar chart, but I understand from previous replies that this cannot be done when there are more than one value. However, are there any other ways ?
EG,.. is it possible to hack this by adding a calculated column to the data (hex color) and then use those values to set the bar colors via a clever query?
if so , could someone give me an example of how to write a query that coud do this? - Thanks

Just to share the knowledge, Ive found a 3rd party chart tool (plugin) that does exactly what Im trying to achieve.
It doesnt use the hacky query method that I was asking about in my orginal post, but it does allow me to apply conditional formatting on stacked bar charts.
Its called the Multi Axis Chart from xviz.com
@Anonymous that's exactly was my first reply. Glad you found the solution.

Hi @Anonymous
I think if you create a measure seprately for each row, add the measures to the Values field of the Bar chart and then use Format / Data Colors to play with the colors
could be a solution if don't have too many rows

@Anonymous I cannot think of any clever way to do this. Not sure if there is a custom visual that can get you what you are looking for.
