Is it possible to add an index column to a union table?

Hello,

I'm looking to add an index column to a union table.  However, when I open up PowerQuery, I only see the two tables that were unionized and not the union table.  It wouldn't work to add indexes to the two individual tables because, once unionized, they would negate any ID uniqueness.

In data model, you could use RANKX Function to create an index column.
