Is it possible to add a Total percentage column to a matrix?

I would like to add a Percent column to a matrix based on this table :

ITEMReport DateEvents
FANS2020-054
HVAC2020-0522
HEATERS2020-0521
CIRCUITS2020-0525
UNDEFINED2020-0515
HONEYCOMBS2020-051
FANS2020-065
HVAC2020-0634
HEATERS2020-0617
CIRCUITS2020-0643
UNDEFINED2020-0620
HONEYCOMBS2020-062
HVAC2020-0742
GRILLS2020-071
HEATERS2020-0725
CIRCUITS2020-0747
UNDEFINED2020-0716
HONEYCOMBS2020-074
FANS2020-082
HVAC2020-0821
GRILLS2020-082
HEATERS2020-0813
CIRCUITS2020-0843
UNDEFINED2020-084
HONEYCOMBS2020-081
HVAC2020-097
HEATERS2020-097
CIRCUITS2020-0920
UNDEFINED2020-094
HVAC2020-0917
HEATERS2020-0917
CIRCUITS2020-0948
UNDEFINED2020-0910

The matrix looks like this:

But everytime I add a percent column/measure, I get several columns, one for each of the months. I don't need that, I only need one percentage column, based on totals. And (if possible) a way to ignore the the values for 1-SEP-2020. Is it possible?

Did you know you can use your mouse to squeeze columns to make them close to invisible?  (Requires that you disable word wrap).  That way you can "hide"  the individual percentages.

As for ignoring September - that will require a measure.

You can create a "custom" structure for your columns if you want to "override" the default.

Here is an explanation on how to do it:

Did not work. It does hide the percentages columns but makes the rows too tall:

Remember to disable word wrap
