Instalments by period

I have a table with Instalment amounts including the recurrence of the instalment.

I want to create a visual that will allow a user to select a year and it should give the forecast of the instalment for that year.

The user should also be able to select a quarter and get the forecast for that quarter. The user should also be able to see it by month, when the user select a month then show the instalments per day for that day.

I would prefer not to use a drill down option.

I would prefer this on an area chart or stacked area chart.

Is this doable and how?

Hi @v-lili6-msft

The suggested solution didnt work. The problem I am facing is that not all instalments should be added for a specific month.

The instalments work on a recurring period from first instalment date. For EG. My instalment recurring period is every 3 months, a payment will be made once every 3 months. And it starts only from the date of 1st instalment date(FirstICDate).

InstalmentPeriod could be M= monthly, Y = Yearly.

InstalmentPeriodRecurrence could be 1, 2 , 3, 4, 6, it could be any number.

I have added a sample data set to 1 of my previous replies.

What do I want to achieve...

I want to create a cashflow visual. This visual should represent a yearly cashflow, quarterly cashflow and monthly cashflow. The problem comes in that not all the instalments are monthly. Some are quarterly or once yearly.

How will I get my visual to add my monthly instalments at the right time?
