Insert Vertical Lines Based On Milestone

I have a line chart where the x-axis is Date. I have a second table which has two columns, one Date and the other text value. I want to show vertical lines on the line chart corresponding to the dates in the second table with label being the text value.

I guess currently this isn't possible just the way I want it although there is an idea posted for something similar to this which didn't get any response and has been active for several months now.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to achieve something similar?

Hi @shhafiz,

Have you tried using the Gantt custom visual which can be an alternative option to visual milestone currently? Smiley Happy

Thanks for your reply. I didn't check out Gantt Chart, although I am already familiear with it prior to starting on Power BI. When I talked about milestone, I was referring to spcial events that has occurred on that particular date, I appologize for the confusion. As per my understanding, whenever we talk about milestone, we usually refer to a preset goal that we have achieved. In my case, it's not any preset goal, rather an event that has occurred on a given date.
