Input value to parameter

Hi All,

I'm looking for a solution to build a dynamic Query in PowerQuery with M. So i have idea and i need your help.

I have one table which contain a distinct values : exmple table  COLOR  / Value: Black, White.

I'll go to my report using URL filter > URL?filter=Color/Value eq 'Black'

Then i want to get this value to put it into a parameter, to use it after in PowerQuery to filter my direct query.

What do you think about it ?

Thanks 🙂

Hi @nkasdali

It is not clear of this sentence

Then i want to get this value to put it into a parameter, to use it after in PowerQuery to filter my direct query.

Based on my knowledge, URL filter can't filter back to the data source, it only filter and show the data on reports which meet the filter condition.

If I am understanding your question correctly, to dynamically filter the data which returns from the data source, you could create parameter in power query.
