Hi all,
I've watched several good blogs and videos on configuring incremental refresh for reports published to a premium capacity workspace. We do have premium, as well as a data warehouse which has an audit column on each dimension/fact table that has the last processed/updated date time.
I'm not sure what values to set my RangeStart and RangeEnd parameters to by default. I know the filter will be on the last process date column to be between the RangeStart/RangeEnd parameters. Essentially it should check to ensure the process date time is greater than the last time it was loaded, so it only loads the records daily.
Alos, when using Azure SQL database with import, I don't think there is a way to refresh more frequently than daily is there?
Is it typical to only apply incremental to the fact table? Wouldn't it be ideal to set all tables to incremental?
