hello,
I have a usecase to capture data changes in the SQL server DB.
My solution would be to have a customer table in power bi with incremental refresh where only new data is added to the table and I would name this table as Customer table(incremental refresh). Then i would have another same customer table where this table is fully refreshed everyday and would name this as Customer table(Full refresh). I would then compare the count of customers between Customer table(incremental refresh) and Customer table(Full refresh). If there is a data change/ some of the historical data is deleted in the SQL database the full refresh table would show up the difference.
BTW, i very well know how the incremental refresh set up is made and it would only refresh on PBI service
Please confirm if this is possible.
Thank you,
Ashwin
