Incremental refresh not overwriting parameters

Hello everyone, I'm stumped on getting incremental refreshes to work properly. I set upIR.JPG a report to use incremental refreshes following this article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-premium-incremental-refresh

I set everything up with a filter in the Timestamp column with RangeStart & RangeEnd but when I publish it, it doesn't overwrite the default RangeStart and RangeEnd parameters.  The data in Power BI service ends up filtered to the default RangeStart & RangeEnd dates.

RangeStart  - 2/20/2020

RangeEnd - 12/31/2020

After publishing the report to service, it is giving data only between 2/20 -2/24 and not before that.

I cannot reproduce the issue. You may try the latest version of Power BI Desktop.

Once published, i keep getting these errors and refresh is failing.

Any idea how to troubleshoot this?
